Saint Joseph Engineering College Vamanjooru hosts grand inaugural of TIARA’25 Techno-Cultural Fest
Saint Joseph Engineering College (SJEC) Vamanjooru Mangaluru is celebrating TIARA’25 techno-cultural fest on 13th and 14th November 2025 in its campus premises. The much-awaited event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Shivakumar G.K., VP-Operations, Invenger Technologies on 13 November 2025 at the SJEC Basketball Court. The event commenced with the blessings of God, followed by a vibrant flash mob performance by students, setting an energetic tone for the grand celebration.
Rev. Fr Wilfred Prakash Dsouza – Director of SJEC, presided over the programme. Rev. Fr Kenneth Rayner Crasta – Assistant Director, was the guest of honour. Dr Rio Dsouza – Principal, Dr Purushottama Chippar – Vice Principal, Priya Miranda and Sachin U., convenors of TIARA’25, Suhas L. Karinja and Srishti Jalan, student convenors of TIARA’25 were present on the occasion.
The chief guest, in his address highlighted that TIARA’25 is a platform for participants to learn and innovate. He emphasised the fast pace of technology change driven by Artificial Intelligence in current times and advised students to remain curious and creative. Students should always be aware of human aspects of technology for the good of society was his message to the engineering community.
The two-day fest will witness participation of students from across the region in a series of technical, non-technical as well as cultural events displaying their skills and competencies witnessing innovation and creativity. Major attractions of the fest include GROOVE, spin the disc followed by the performance by route 96. The cultural and the award ceremony is on the second day followed by Tech night by SWATTREX.
The grand opening of Tiara ’25 marks the beginning of two days filled with innovation, creativity and cultural vibrancies, showcasing the talent and technical prowess of SJEC students. Ayesha Shama and Aarshamol Babu Varghese compered the inaugural programme.
