SRA SISTERS CELEBRATE FINAL PROFESSION WITH GRATITUDE AND JOY
The Missionary Sisters of the Queen of the Apostles (SRA), Mangalore Province, marked a significant spiritual milestone with the Final Profession of three of their members — Sr M. Ashwitha Menezes, Sr M. Mariyalin Lopes and Sr M. Maria Shanthi D’Souza. The solemn ceremony took place on Thursday 5th December 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at the Queen of the Apostles Convent in Vamanjoor, Mangalore.
The event was graced by the presence of Most Rev. Dr Duming Dias, Bishop of Karwar Diocese, who officiated the Holy Eucharist. Surrounded by their community, family and well-wishers, the sisters publicly declared their perpetual commitment to their religious vocation, embracing a life of service, prayer and dedication to Christ.
Under the theme “Being a Ray of Hope to the World,” the celebration radiated joy, gratitude and a renewed call to mission. The congregation expressed its profound thanks to Almighty God for guiding these sisters on their spiritual journey and thanked all who joined in prayer and support.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks from the community, expressing their gratitude to the Provincial Superior, Sr M. Leena Valookaran SRA and all involved in making the day memorable. The Missionary Sisters of the Queen of the Apostles continue to inspire hope and faith in the world through their dedication and service.
