Blood Donation Camp at P.A. College

On 15 April 2025 Youth Red Cross, NSS and IQAC of PA First Grade College in collaboration with the Red Cross Society Blood Bank, Government Lady Goschen Hospital, Mangalore organised a Blood Donation Camp.

Dr Sukhesh, Medical Officer of Dakshina Kannada Indian Red Cross Society was the chief guest. He stated that among all forms of donations, blood donation is the greatest, as it not only saves lives but also plays a crucial role in maintaining our own health. Dr Sarfraz J. Hasim, Principal of P.A. First Grade College, presided over the event and delivered the presidential address.

The event was attended by several distinguished guests including Praveen Kumar – Coordinator Indian Red Cross Society Dakshina Kannada District, Abbas Uchchil – Former Sales and Marketing Manager Eco-Lab K.S.E., Dr Ramiz M. K. – Principal P.A. College of Engineering, Afeef – Principal P.A. Institute of Physiotherapy, Prof. Ismail Khan – Vice Principal P.A. Polytechnic, Harris T.D. – Purchase Manager, P.A.E.T. Heads of various departments.  Youth Red Cross Coordinators Saara Maskurunnis and Dr Shijin N., NSS Coordinators Chaitra N.V. and Itashree and IQAC Coordinator, Vanishree V. were also seated on the dais.

Shafna Shireen, from 3rd year BCA welcomed the gathering while Fowz Fatima from 2nd year BCA proposed vote of thanks. Hiba Mariam served as the MC for the program. A total of 150 students voluntarily donated blood during the camp.
