Perpetual Profession at Rosa Mystica Convent
The Perpetual Profession of three Tertians was held on 23rd April 2025 at Rosa Mystica convent, Kinnikambla. The Holy Eucharist was officiated by Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha Bishop of Mangalore Diocese and con-celebrated by eight Priests.
Sr Melisha Suvaries, Sr Monica Fernandes and Sr Vinitha Gonsalves, marched towards the altar of God along with the Superior General Rev. Sr Rose Celine BS. Bishop invited the participants to have personal encounter with the risen Lord, like the disciples who walked to Emmaus with heavy hearts and went back to Jerusalem running, having met the Lord.
Rev. Sr Rose Celine received the vows and offered to the perpetually professed ‘cross’ and ‘ring’ and called upon to keep their eyes fixed on Jesus. At the end of the Eucharist, she presented them to Blessed Mother singing ‘Magnificat’.
A short felicitation program was organized at the Tertiate Hall. The perpetually Professed Sisters were introduced and greeted by the Superior General, General councilors, Provincial Superiors, Sisters and family members. Superior General gratefully acknowledged the offering made by their parents, accompaniment given by all the past and present formators, Superiors and Major Superiors.
Sr Melisha Suvares, Sr Monica Fernandes and Sr Vinitha Gonsalves thanked everyone for making their day a memorable one. Celebration came to an end with a fellowship meal, strengthening the bond of fraternity. Bethany Congregation rejoices with the dedication made by three young sisters and wishes them God’s choicest blessings.
