The Congregation of the Missionary Sisters of the Queen of the Apostles (SRA)
The newly constructed Maria Giri Geriatric Care Unit at Kuppepadav was inaugurated on 2nd May, by Rev. Sr Zeena Dsouza SRA, Superior General of the Congregation and was blessed by Bishop Emeritus of the Archdiocese of Bangalore and the current Administrator of the Diocese of Mysuru. The celebration was graced by Rev. Fr Marcel Shaldanha Parish Priest of Kuppepadav, along with other Priests of the Diocese of Mangalore, Provincial Sr Leena Valookaran the Sisters of the Province and well-wishers.
It was a memorable occasion, witnessed with great joy by the local community. The inauguration, blessing and felicitation program were conducted meaningfully and smoothly. The geriatric center is now open and dedicated to providing compassionate care for senior citizens and the elders.
