Mogarnad Church Marks Jubilee of Community and Association in 250th Year Celebration
Deva Matha Church Mogarnad has Celebrated the Jubilee of Community and Associations as a part of its 250th Jubilee Year on 2025 June 29th. All the Church community and associated Organization invited to join the jubilee gathering. The event began at 8:00 AM with a holy mass and a tribute ceremony. All organizations and community members were gathered. At the Holy Mass sacrifice, Rev. Fr Anil Canute Dmello, Rev. Fr Sunil George Dsouza, Director of Christian Community, Mangalore Diocese, Rev. Fr Naveen Prakash Pinto were present.
After the mass, All Community and Associates members were gathered at the Deva Mata Sabha Bhavan. The program began with a community prayer by Principal Rev. Fr Naveen Prakash Pinto. Rev. Fr Anil Canute Dmello Welcomed the gathering and he said, “If the community has to grow under the guidance, it is essential to work hand in hand and support each other. If the community is united, no difficulties, losses, or challenges can affect it. It is important to work together for the growth of the community.
Rev. Fr Sunil George has actively carried out the meaningfulness and importance of community and also mentioned how we should be involved in the Community and associations. Rev. Fr Anil Canute Dmello, Rev. Fr Sunil George Dsouza the Director of Christian Community Mangalore Diocese, Br Prinston Dsouza, Parish council Vice President Santosh Dsouza, Secretary Wilfred Lobo, Committee Coordinator Emiliana Dcunha, Deva Matha Convent Superior Sister Anni were present. All the organization and Community in charge leaders and Ward leaders who served wholeheartedly, the association leaders, the president and secretary who provided their dedicated service, were honoured during this Program.
