Rev. Fr Maxim Dsouza Appointed New Warden of Saint Philomena College Men’s Hostel

A formal handover ceremony was held at Saint Philomena College Men’s Hostel, Puttur, where Rev. Fr Rupesh Raveen Tauro officially handed over the responsibilities of Warden to Rev. Fr Maxim Dsouza. The event was attended by hostel sub-wardens and student representatives, marking a significant transition in the hostel’s leadership. The ceremony reflected the spirit of continuity and the institution’s commitment to the welfare of its students.

Rev. Fr Rupesh Raveen Tauro served as the Warden for the past two years, during which he was known for maintaining discipline and fostering a positive living environment for students. As he now moves on to a new ministry, he thanked the students, faculty and parents for their support during his tenure.

Rev. Fr Maxim Dsouza, who is currently the Headmaster of Saint Philomena High School, has taken on the additional role of Warden. He brings with him years of experience in education and youth ministry and is expected to contribute significantly to the hostel’s overall growth and guidance. Very Rev. Fr Lawrence Mascarenhas, Correspondent of the Mai De Deus Educational Institutions, congratulated Rev. Fr Maxim and expressed confidence in his ability to lead the hostel with dedication and care.
