Golden Girl Jesnia Correa Clinches Double Gold at National Roller-Skating Championship 2025
Mount Carmel Central School Mangaluru, has added another feather to its cap as its Grade IX student Jesnia Correa delivered an outstanding performance at the National Roller-Skating Championship 2025, winning two gold medals and bringing laurels to the school and the state.

Competing in the Under-17 category, Jesnia showcased exceptional skill and speed by securing gold medals in the 500m rink race and the lap road race. Representing Karnataka, she stood out among top competitors at the championship held in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, from November 9 to 12, 2025. Her remarkable control, competitive spirit and determination helped her dominate both events and finish on the top step of the podium.


This latest achievement further cements Jesnia’s growing reputation as one of the brightest talents in roller skating. Just last month, she had also won a gold medal in the 500m rink race at the CBSE National Skating Competition in Haryana, underlining her consistent success at the national level.

Jesnia’s journey in the sport reflects years of hard work, discipline and perseverance. She receives constant encouragement from her parents, Jerome and Pritha Correa of Bejai, who have played a crucial role in nurturing her passion. She trains professionally at the Hi Flyers Skating Club, Skate City, Ashoknagar, under the expert guidance of coaches Mohan, Prateek Raja, Ramanand and Kumar.


The management, principal, staff and students of Mount Carmel Central School have congratulated Jesnia Correa on her remarkable achievement and wished her continued success in her future competitions.
