“Minugutare 2025 – Christmas with Achievers” Celebrates Inspiring Journeys of Former SMSSS Beneficiaries
The Shimoga Multipurpose Social Service Society (SMSSS) organized Minugutare 2025 – Christmas with Achievers on December 21, 2025, celebrating the inspiring journeys of former beneficiaries who have emerged as accomplished professionals. The event served as a heartfelt Christmas gathering, highlighting the transformative power of community support and the importance of giving back to society.

Delivering the keynote address, Rev. Fr Pius Dsouza, Director of SMSSS, said the program was aimed at reconnecting with beneficiaries who are now achievers and motivating them to become donors and mentors for those in need. He lauded their perseverance and resilience, noting that their success stories stand as living examples of how timely support and guidance can change lives.

In his Christmas message, Msgr. Stanish Dsouza, delegate of the Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Shivamogga, reflected on the true meaning of the season, stating that “Giving is Christmas, sharing is Christmas.” He expressed deep appreciation for the dedicated staff of SMSSS and the generous donors whose continued support has enabled the organization to carry forward its mission of service and outreach.

The program featured inspiring testimonies from achievers across diverse fields. Nishal B., now an embryologist, shared how the sponsorship program laid the foundation for his professional journey.
