A Beautiful Witness of Faith: Grace-Filled Rosary Devotion and Candlelight Procession Held at Saint Sebastian Church Bendoor
Saint Sebastian Church Bendoor witnessed a deeply moving and spiritually uplifting Rosary devotion at the church grotto on 31st of May. The special evening, dedicated to honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary, was held under the spiritual leadership of Parish Priest Rev. Fr Walter Dsouza, along with Assistant Parish Priest Rev. Fr Joel Monteiro and Rev. Fr Osmand Dsouza. The successful event was organized through the collaborative efforts of the Legion of Mary, the Parish Choir, the Catechism team, and the Liturgy Commission.
Active Participation Across Generations:
The evening was marked by vibrant and active participation from parishioners of all age groups. In a touching display of innocence and faith, the parish children led the recitation of the Rosary, their voices echoing beautifully throughout the grotto.
The prayerful atmosphere was further enhanced by:

During the one-hour devotion, special intentions and community prayers were offered for world peace, good rains, families, youth, the sick, and parishioners living and working abroad.
“It was a moment of profound peace and hope for our families and the entire world,” shared one of the parishioners after the service.

The devotion concluded at 7:15 PM with a solemn blessing from the Parish Priest, who encouraged everyone to carry Mother Mary’s spirit of faith, humility, and service into their daily lives.
Expressing his heartfelt gratitude, Royston Fernandes (Parish Pastoral Council Secretary) thanked everyone who participated and helped organize the event. He noted that such meaningful gatherings greatly strengthen the bond of the parish family and renew their collective trust in Mary’s intercession.
