A New Era Begins: Saint Theresa’s School Bendoor Mangaluru Formally Launches Pioneer ISC Stream
Saint Theresa’s School officially entered a new chapter in its academic legacy today, June 10, 2026, with the grand inauguration of its first-ever Indian School Certificate (ISC) stream. The milestone event welcomed a pioneer batch of forty students who will pave the way for future senior secondary generations at the institution.






The ceremony opened with a solemn Invocation Hymn and an official welcome by the school’s Principal, Sr Lourdes BS. Reflecting on the achievement, Sr Lourdes expressed deep appreciation for the parents’ trust and reaffirmed the school’s dedication to providing personalized, holistic education to shape capable and compassionate future leaders.






The launch was heavily supported by the Bethany Educational Society (BES). Sr Sandhya BS, Secretary of BES Mangalore, attended as the chief guest. In her keynote address, she encouraged the inaugural batch to dream big and maintain a steadfast pursuit of excellence.







Key highlights of the ceremony included:
* The Pioneer’s Pledge: Administered to the inaugural batch by School Correspondent Sr Shaila BS, marking their commitment to academic integrity and leadership.









* Symbolic Ceremonies: The traditional Lighting of the Sacred Lamp and a Fortitude Flame Ceremony were held to symbolize the illumination of knowledge and courage for the path ahead.

The smoothly run programme was compered by Jasmine Moreira. It concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ritti Dsouza followed by the singing of the National Anthem, leaving students, parents, and faculty with a shared sense of pride and momentum for the school’s expanded academic future. Collette Cabral the PTA Vice President was present.
