Live Musical Concert Raises Funds for Kidney Dialysis Patients at Father Muller Hospital Mangalore

A charity musical concert organized by Father Muller Charitable Institutions (FMCI) in association with Vincent Fernandes Cascia’s Mogachi Lahran and Team Donating Love successfully raised funds for kidney dialysis patients in need. The event, held on February 23, at the Father Muller Convention Centre, witnessed an overwhelming response from the public.

The concert featured performances by popular Konkani singer Vincent Fernandes and his team, along with energetic Baila numbers and comedy entertainment by Team Memory. A special performance by Comedy King Dolla Mangaluru added to the evening’s charm.

The event began with a warm welcome by Rev. Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho, Director of FMCI, who expressed gratitude to all those supporting the noble cause. The evening was skilfully hosted by Emcee Floyd Dmello Cascia, who kept the audience engaged with his lively interactions and seamless coordination throughout the event.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Michael Dsouza (Chief Patron), Roy Castellino (Diocese PRO), Stany Alvares (President, Konkani Sahitya Academy), Anil Lobo (MCC Bank Chairman), Rev. Fr Ajith B. Menezes (Administrator, FMCI), Rev. Fr Jeevan George Sequeira (Administrator, FMMCH), FMCI board members Dr Derrick and MP Noronha, Liston Dsouza (Advocate and Businessman) and Vincent Fernandes Cascia (Musician and Organizer).

Speaking on the occasion, Michael Dsouza, a noted NRI philanthropist from Mangaluru-Dubai and UAF, delivered a powerful address, urging the community to support the noble cause. He highlighted how music and social service can come together to make a difference and emphasized the importance of community involvement in ensuring access to life-saving medical care.

Father Muller Charitable Institutions, which has been providing healthcare for over 143 years, continues to support the underprivileged through medical camps, subsidized treatments and funding for critical care services. The proceeds from the concert will be used to provide dialysis treatment for financially struggling patients. The inaugural ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Advocate Liston Dsouza, a key member of Team Donating Love, who recognized the tireless efforts of all contributors. The organizers also expressed gratitude to the sponsors, artists, and attendees for their support in making the event a success.
