She congratulate ld the graduates for being on the bridge where one side showed the toilet, harwork and sleeplessness whilst the other side shown an ocean of opportunities. Nursing has evolved from mere bedside care to that of administrative, health care quality managers, enterpreneur and researchers. No technology can replace the human touch and commitment of a good nurse.

The Chief Guest, Dr Venkataraja Aithal U., delivered an inspiring Graduation Address and emphasized the importance of enlightened on his association with Father Muller as he worked here for a month under the directorship of Rev. Dr Moras and then moved for his master’s Mysore in 1995. His salary earned could pay the fee and this he remained grateful for the experience he also could get under Dr Dayakar Poonja ENT Surgeon. He asked that offlate during a PG discourse in his college he was astonished at the way a post graduate clinically placed the stroboscope to unveil the vocal chord. He questioned her bachelor’s background learning that she had studied at Fater Muller College. This he said with such was clinical exposure and competent guides all the students and the graduates need to make their name and fame from here. Students and patients are creative. Without creativity innovations stops. A simple pen refill that stopped a leak in a prothesis as the patient could not afford a new one earned him a grant from the government agency on seeking cost affective ways of prothesis provision in speech. All should nome knowledge, skills and innovations, these are the crux to an academic secret.

The Presidential Address by Most Rev. Dr Bernard Moras impressed in Rev. Fr Augustus Miller’s service of the Leprosy and disable in a time where no shelter or care was given to them. This Father Muller institutions was born from love of the sick and suffering humanity and it continues to do so with its nurses, healthcare professionals giving a hand of empathy when it is needed the most. Remember, skills without empathy is of no use. Become a beacon of love and service and all will follow suite. He also reflected on the Brain Drain that is happening in the Nursing and healthcare arena to which the government should glance through providing national and international requirements at a good quality of service. His final remark was for all to heed the words of Christ ‘What you do unto others, you do unto Me’. Be acperson of service, a person of love and a person of harmony.
